Switch Interface Unit - Battery Powered
The Switch Interface Unit allows up to five momentary push to make switches to be wirelessly connected via Bluetooth to a Cucumber motion sensor(s). This saves on wiring between devices, reducing installation time, materials and associated costs.
Key Features
30 metre range
The Switch Interface Unit can be positioned up to 30m away (line of sight) from the nearest sensor. Furthermore, the unit can help ‘relay’ Bluetooth messages between other products.
Simple installation
The battery option is particularly useful for challenging wiring locations such as glass partitions or listed buildings.
Configurable
The Switch Interface Unit is individually configurable. Programmable buttons support both on/off and dimming. So its possible for example to have one unit supporting two up and down dimming switches in combination with an on/off switch.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth wireless communication between devices allow groups of sensors and switches to work either together in a network or stand alone. This increases flexibility to meet any building requirement.
Flexible
Customers have the flexibility to connect different switch types depending on the style and design requirements of their installation (Latching switches to be used in conjunction with SW-IU-230V only).
Free to use app
Utilising Bluetooth technology the switch(es) can be programmed via our free to use app to different configurations depending on the application, providing a futureproof solution.
Mounting bracket
Supplied with removable mounting bracket. Can be clipped on to 35mm DIN rail.
Five inputs
Five inputs for momentary push to make switches (SELV).
Long-life battery
Battery life is limited by its lifespan (typically 10 years). The battery level is shown in the app.
